After marvelous Dirilis Ertugrul, also known as Turkish game of thrones, Netflix has yet come up with another Turkish series “The Protector“. The Protector is based on N. Ipek Gokdel’s fantasy novel “Karakalem ve Bir Delikanlinin Tuhaf Hikayesi (A Strange Story of Charcoal and a Young Man)”.Turkish series are being loved by the viewers worldwide after Dirilis Ertugrul made very much large impact. Being a Turkish show, the series has a mixture of all kinds of dramas and actions.
Netflix’s The Protector Season 1 Plot:
The Protector also known as “O Protetor de Istambul” is a Netflix original Turkish series. It is about a young man, Hakan, who discovers that he has a special power and he is THE PROTECTOR. Hakan now has to learn to use his power in a right way in order to save the city and humanity from the dark forces and power that are eager to destroy the city of Istanbul, known as the “Immortals”.
So, he acts with his friends who will help him to do so. But first he needs to find those magical ring and a dagger that will make THE PROTECTOR; Hakan, invincible. Season one ends with Hakan choosing Leyla over his duties as the protector of Istanbul, leading to a chaotic and action-packed finale.
The season has made a remarkable progress and the series is being loved worldwide.The Istanbul-based fantasy drama series consists of ten episodes which is 45 minutes long per episode. Cagatoy Ulusoy in his translated interview with Turkish media said that “Netflix without any doubt is an effective platform, so working with Netflix is really an amazing experience.” Ulusoy also mentioned Netflix as that platform where everyone with good skills can have a chance to come with wonderful career.

When Will Season 2 of “The Protector” Release in Netflix?
Exact release date has not been confirmed officially by the Netflix, but Vice President of Netflix International Productions, Kelly Luegenbiehl in Istanbul said “The second season is definitely up and will be broadcasted with some new artists in 2019” in press conference. The following news has also been confirmed by Turkish daily news website “Hurriyet Daily News”. The good news for the series fans is that, Hakan will be back for saving the Istanbul city in 2019. The series is now more trending, and the people are loving the series. The Protector has managed to make its viewers feel that they are in fantastic world of modern Istanbul that combines East and West which is not an easy job to do.

Second season which will be released in 2019 will be coming up with some of the major changes like improved visual effects, proper story ending, good fight choreography and unpredictable plots.
