The HBO’s comedy talk show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver team has found a way to take a seemingly complicated issues, removing the talking points and cultural trunks surrounding it and breaking it into understandable parts and then slowly rebuilding it.

From being laugh out loud funny to crude as hell, the show smartly describes about socially unskilled people and what kind of earth these people want to inherit. The show perfectly balances the stupidity with brilliance. The show also utilizes visual and topical humor to its benefit which makes the scenes to solidify the jokes it wanted to present.

The comedy drama documentary has the power to allow you share for few hours, a sense of what that must have felt like. The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling justifies its stretching form. It is bittersweet, very funny and does right by the man and the comic world that gave him so much insecurity and so much success.
