Netflix Original French Series and Movies

Netflix has been entertaining it users by providing one of the highest rated US, UK and Canadian shows and series. Now they are eager to deliver a good content in foreign land.

Netflix is releasing more content on tv shows and movies in the foreign territories leaving a very good impression. Sacred Games in Netflix India, Dirilis Ertugrul – a Turkish tv show considered as a Turkish Game of Thrones, are examples that Netflix is trying to reach broader audience with quality tv series.

Netflix is now coming with the brand new and exciting French series for the users worldwide where Netflix is available. In press release, Vice President of International Originals at Netflix said that “Netflix International is very much delighted and happy to announce three new French series and Four new French movies and documentaries which will be available in all 190 countries where Netflix is available.

New Upcoming Netflix Original French Series:

1. Family Business

Family Business is a half hour comedy series about a butcher who transforms his storefront into France’s first coffee shop. The show is a half hour comedy show about a young man who recruits his best friends to help save his family business from the first coffee shop of France.

Produced By: Les Films du Kiosque and Five Dogs

Release date is yet to be confirmed and announced by Netflix. As being a Netflix Original series , the series is expected to get released in 2019.


2. Marianne:

Marianne is a Netflix original French series which is about a young novelist whose terrifying characters might also be living in the real world. Emma, a sharp and honest novelist discovers the terrifying characters that she includes in her best-selling series of horror novels, might as well be living in the real world along with her.

3. Vampires:

Vampires is about a resistant and disaffected teenage girl who is becoming a vampire. A young ungovernable teenage girl is faced with her unavoidable change, becoming a vampire, her overly protective mother engages her no longer close siblings in a race to find a cure. The series is adapted from the book “Vampires” By Thierry Jonquet.

Release date is yet to be confirmed and announced by Netflix, but the season is expected to be available in Netflix by the end of 2019.

4. Plan Couer:

Charlotte and Emilie are reunited to support Elsa, their best friend, eternal bachelor, who still does not understand why she can’t find love. In the hope that she gains confidence again and again in herself, Charlotte and Emilie will then make a surprising decision.

7. Solidarite:

To give voice to ordinary hero’s and extraordinary humans the following documentary film follows the destinies of 5 men and women who are symbols of resilience and bearer of hope in humanity.

8. Paris Est Une Fete:

Initiated through a crowdfunded campaign that gained viral buzz, Paris est une fete is a real-time French love story shot over 3-years on the streets of Paris, without any permits, amidst the crowds in a city scarred by terror attacks and social upheavals.
